JEE Main 2024 Exam Date, Syllabus, Pattern, and Important Dates: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in various institutes across India. The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year, in January and April.  

JEE Main 2024 Exam Date

The NTA has announced the JEE Main 2024 exam dates as follows:

• Session 1: January 24 to February 1, 2024
• Session 2: April 1 to 15, 2024

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed the class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
• Candidates appearing for the class 12th exam in 2024 are also eligible to apply.

The JEE Main 2024 syllabus will be based on the syllabus of Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT textbooks. The syllabus covers the following subjects:

JEE Main 2024 Exam Pattern

The JEE Main 2024 exam will be a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will consist of two papers:

• Paper 1: For admission to B.E./B.Tech programs
• Paper 2: For admission to B.Arch and B.Planning programs

Paper 1 will consist of three sections:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry

Paper 2 will consist of two sections:

• Aptitude Test in Architecture (AAT)

Each section will consist of 20 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
