Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 75% marks in aggregate (65% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12.
  • Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1999.
  • Candidates can appear for JEE Main a maximum of three times.

JEE Main 2024 Application Process

To apply for JEE Main 2024, candidates need to visit the official website of NTA and register themselves. After registering, candidates need to fill up the application form and pay the required fee.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Pattern

JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates who want to take admission in B.E./B.Tech courses, and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to take admission in B.Arch/B.Planning courses.

Paper 1 will have three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 30 questions, and the total duration of the exam will be three hours.

Paper 2 will have three sections: Mathematics, Drawing, and Planning Aptitude. Each section will have 30 questions, and the total duration of the exam will be three hours.
