- Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 75% marks in aggregate (65% for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12.
- Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1999.
- Candidates can appear for JEE Main a maximum of three times.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Pattern
JEE Main 2024 will be conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates who want to take admission in B.E./B.Tech courses, and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to take admission in B.Arch/B.Planning courses.
